• The 12th grader must contact the school coordinator to register his UAE –ID or can register by pressing the registration button on the official EmSAT website.
• Grade 12 students must know that The registration for EmSAT does not replace registration with NAPO. Expatriates should register through the national assessment system only and may not register with NAPO.
• Previous year's graduate needs to do self-registration on the official EmSAT website.


• Students may change their test date, if necessary, but should keep under consideration the that registration will close 2 weeks in advance of a test date. After the close of registration, students will not be able to reschedule or cancel their test and will be considered absent*.  

*The student can apply for exams on different days and choose the appropriate time and place according to the available dates and vacant seats that suit his schedule. • Students will not be permitted to take the test if they arrive 15 minutes late from the registered time on their ticket and they will be considered absent.

• Grade 12 students must bring with them a copy of their test ticket, and their original Emirates / National ID (copies or screenshots will not be accepted). Otherwise, the student will not be permitted to enter the test and will be considered absent.

• If the student was absent, the system will not allow him to retake the test unless he submit evidence of his absence explaining the excuse such as : the occasion of relative death, sick leave that issued from an authorized health authority. The request will be verified by committee then, the fees paid will remain in the student’s account to register for the upcoming EmSAT if it is accepted and the student would be considered absent if his request was rejected, the fees will not be refunded, and the absences policy will be applied.

• Candidates have the chance to repeat any test after 30 days of the first attempt.

• Test scores will be blocked from the EmSAT portal if a student cheats or is caught attempting to cheat, and they will be forbidden to register or attend any test for a whole year.

• The Grade 12 students receives the test result at least 15 working days after the test.
• Previous year's graduates receive the test result at least 10 working days after they have taken the test.
• All test taker will receive an email stating that the results are available in his account on the test platform. Results will not be posted or shared on any other channel and the student must access his account only on the test platform.


• All universities and institutes that intend to be authorized to perform the Emirates Standardized Test, they must communicate with the Director of the Department, Ms. Hessa Al-Wahhabi Al-Nuaimi (hessa.alwahhabi@moe.gov.ae), with an official letter and ensure that the requirements mentioned in the guide are met: Authorized Test Centre Regulations and Specifications.
